What is the F-Linx app?
The F-Linx app lets you open and close your garage door using your smartphone or tablet. You can also check whether your door is open or closed and share access with family members.
The app works with selected automatic garage door openers installed by Alpha Doors. Using the app is completely optional — your normal remote controls will continue to work exactly the same.
Who is the app best suited for?
The F-Linx app is a great option if you already use a smartphone or tablet and like the convenience of checking or operating your garage door remotely.
It is especially popular with families who want shared access, or clients who want peace of mind knowing they can check their door from anywhere.
If you prefer traditional remotes only, that’s perfectly fine. The app is not required to use your garage door

What you’ll need
To use the F-Linx app, you will need:
• A compatible Windsor Doors automatic garage door opener
• A home Wi-Fi connection in the garage
• A smartphone or tablet (iPhone or Android)
If Wi-Fi is not available, the app will not work — however, your garage door and remotes will still operate normally.

Common questions
Do I have to use the app?
No. The app is optional. Your garage door remotes will continue to work as normal.
What happens if my internet goes down?
The app will not work while the internet is offline, but your garage door and remotes will still operate.
Can more than one person use the app?
Yes. You can share access with family members using their own phones. Once your door is connected, you can share access by holding down on the door shown in the app.
What auto openers are compatible?
Any New or Existing ‘Windsor Doors’ Pro auto opener, for standard models a Wifi Module can be plugged in via the USB port, these can be purchased from our store.
